Apples are healthy and oh-so delicious, and by putting a little twist on them, the kiddies won’t think twice about swapping the chocolate bar for a bite of the healthy stuff. So give these quick and easy snacks a try – just remember that apple turns brown after a while, so serve and munch immediately.
Sweet & Savoury Apple Roll-Ups
Take a slice of ham and slice it in half. Place a slice of apple and slice of cheese in the middle of a half-slice of ham. Roll it up and stick a toothpick through the middle.

Dark Chocolate Apples
Melt a slab of dark chocolate in the microwave or a double boiler. Slice an apple into 8 slices and remove the core. Dip half of each slice in the chocolate and sprinkle crushed peanuts on top. Let the chocolate harden and munch away.

Apple Choc Chip “Cookies”
Core the apple and slice it into rings. Spread each slice with peanut butter and top with dark chocolate chips and almond slivers.

Slice the apple into thin wedges and lay them out on a place much like you would nachos. Drizzle with melted caramel, dark chocolate or condensed milk (just enough to give it a sweet kick). Sprinkle with nuts, muesli and chocolate chips, and enjoy!
